Generation Iron Network Releases First Look Of Documentary CODE RED

Generation Iron Network has released a first look into the upcoming feature documentary chronicling the transformative life story of Cristy “Code Red” Nickel

Retired professional boxer. Author. Celebrity nutritionist. Entrepreneur. Cristy “Code Red” Nickel has accomplished a great many feats in the athletic and fitness world. She also took the diet industry by storm developing a nutrition plan that enables individuals to lose 10% of their body wight every month without shakes, diet pills, diet foods, or exercise. After previously announcing production on a feature film documentary of her life story, Generation Iron Network has released a first look at the project – titled CODE RED. Despite this, Cristy Nickel is about to face one of the toughest challenges of her life. After years away from competitive sport – Nickel finds her physique, her athleticism, and her health at a personal low. In order to live up to the high standards she has set for her Code Red clients, and in the past for herself, Nickel has chosen to return to competitive bodybuilding for the first time in decades. The goal? To transform her physique by the NPC Emerald Cup.

At 46 years old, with little time to spare and several years removed from her past life as a bodybuilder – the CODE RED documentary traces her comeback as she prepares, struggles, and relearns how to compete as a Figure division bodybuilder.

The film will also follow Cristy Nickel as she continues to help and inspire clients into transforming their lives, health, and physiques. Multitasking running a company, training for a bodybuilding comeback, and coaching clients – CODE RED will follow Cristy as she transforms three individuals, analyzing the nutrition differences and training needed for bodybuilding vs general weight loss and health.

CODE RED will also dive into the life story of Cristy Nickel and the journey that took her from poor farm girl, to living off food stamps, to millionaire with a thriving company. A deep character study that explores all aspects of Cristy’s life and how it helped develop her militant approach to diet and lifestyle.

CODE RED is directed by Vlad Yudin (Generation Iron, The Hurt Business, Ronnie Coleman: The King) and produced by both Yudin and Edwin Mejia Jr. (Generation Iron, Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer, The Hurt Business, Ronnie Coleman: The King).

The film officially began production in September 2022 and is currently slated to release later this year.
